China PA6 Nylon Rod Suppliers, Factories

Product Description

Description
MC Nylon means Monomer Casting Nylon, is a kind of engineering plastics used in comprehensive industries, has been applied almost every industrial field. The caprolactam monomer is first melted, and added catalyst, then poured it inside moulds at atmosphere pressure so as to shape in different castings, such as: rod, plate, tube. The molecule weight of MC Nylon can reach 70,000-100,000/mol, three times than PA6/PA66. Its mechanical properties are much higher than other nylon materials, such as: PA6/ PA66. MC Nylon plays a more and more important role in the material list recommended by our country.

Material Classifications & Features
MC901 Blue Nylon
This improved MC Nylon has a striking blue color, which performs significantly better than general PA6/PA66 in toughness, flexibility, fatigue-resistance, and general wear behavior. It serves as an ideal material for gears, gear bars, transmission gears, and mechanical components.
MC Nylon MSO2
MC Nylon formulated with MSO2 retains the excellent impact-resistance and fatigue-resistance of standard casting nylon, while enhancing both load-bearing capacity and wear-resistance. It finds extensive application in producing gears, bearings, planet gears, and seal rings.
Oil Nylon Carbon
Oil Nylon added with carbon exhibits an incredibly compact and crystalline structure. This modification delivers superior mechanical strength, wear-resistance, anti-aging properties, and UV resistance compared to standard casting nylon. It is specifically suited for high-wear bearings and mechanical structural parts.
Key Applications
Thanks to its high load bearing capability, low friction, and exceptional wear resistance, MC Nylon can be effectively used in food processing machinery, medical equipment, military industries, mechanical precision parts, and various other industrial engineering fields.
MC Nylon Applications
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is MC Nylon and how is it manufactured?
MC Nylon, or Monomer Casting Nylon, is an engineering plastic produced by melting caprolactam monomer, mixing it with a catalyst, and pouring the mixture into moulds at atmospheric pressure. This method allows the material to cast into various semi-finished shapes like rods, plates, and tubes.
How does MC Nylon differ from standard PA6 or PA66?
MC Nylon has a molecular weight that can reach 70,000 to 100,000/mol, which is three times higher than typical PA6 or PA66. This higher molecular weight results in significantly superior mechanical properties and wear performance.
What are the advantages of adding MSO2 to MC Nylon?
Adding MSO2 (Molybdenum Disulfide) preserves the impact and fatigue resistance of standard cast nylon while increasing overall load-bearing capacity and wear resistance, making it highly suitable for bearings, planet gears, and seals.
What makes Carbon-filled Oil Nylon special?
Carbon-filled Oil Nylon features a highly compact and crystalline structure. It yields exceptional mechanical strength, superior wear-resistance, anti-aging properties, and UV resistance, which makes it ideal for heavy-duty bearing components.
In what formats and sizes is MC Nylon supplied?
It is supplied in sheets (thicknesses from 1 to 300 mm and dimensions up to 1220*2440 mm), rods (ranging from Φ10 to Φ800 mm in diameter), and tubes (with outer diameters up to 1800 mm and inner diameters down to 30 mm).
What are the major applications of MC Nylon?
Due to its versatility and excellent mechanical features, MC Nylon is commonly used in food processing machinery, medical equipment, military components, and various mechanical wear parts like gears, rollers, and seal rings.
